The Local Accountability Advisory Council serves as a bridge between Fleming County Schools and the broader community. The council ensures that accountability efforts reflect the district’s commitment to providing high-quality schools and meaningful learning experiences for all students.

  • The council plays a critical role in advising, guiding, and shaping the development of the Local Accountability Model.

     

    By providing diverse perspectives and informed recommendations, the LAAC helps ensure accountability remains equitable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of students, educators, and community stakeholders.

    • Advises on the design and refinement of the accountability framework.

    • Reviews data and progress to support continuous improvement.

    • Provides feedback to strengthen learning, culture, and partnerships.

    • Facilitates open communication between the district and the community.

  • The LAAC is made up of parents, guardians, students, teachers, staff, administrators, and community leaders. This broad representation ensures accountability in Fleming County is both locally designed and locally owned.
